The presence of a washing machine added to the convenience, especially for longer stays. The clean and thoughtfully furnished space allowed for relaxation without feeling overly luxurious. In particular, the heating system was efficient, ensuring a warm retreat during the cooler evenings, a crucial aspect for visitors like myself from cooler climes. Its location, a short drive from Pitlochry, offered easy access to local attractions while maintaining a tranquil atmosphere. The walks around the cottage were a highlight, with serene wooded paths and minimal foot traffic. While not extravagantly priced, Black Spout Cottage offers a balance of value and comfort, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful getaway. I look forward to returning.
